I woke up this morning and was certain I had the most unbelievable dream ever, and I am putting this dream in the same category as the dream where I had the detachable penis that I put in the kleenex box.
Yes, it was weird, not in the perverted kind of way, but in the CAN NOT BE BELIEVED kind of way.
Then I checked my text messages and HOLY HELL AND VIRGIN MARY, it wasn’t a dream.
I’m cautiously happy right now. No, I’m not really letting myself get ‘happy’ yet. I am going about this as if I am feeding one of Mike Vick’s dogs…with very slow movements and A LOT of padding.
The path that I decided to take in September is living authentically, finding peace and allowing myself to have expectations on how people are allowed to love me. That is the same place I am right now. Don’t get me wrong, this path has knocked me on my ass, picked me up and pushed me off cliffs. I have had to fight for what I KNOW I deserve and I don’t even have all that I want…yet.
The truth will set you free…but first it will piss you the fuck off. I am done being pissed, i’m ready to be free. Anyone lucky enough to be a part of this life of mine needs to understand that. I won’t allow your drama to become mine and if you love me, show it, speak it, respect it, give it to me…because I have earned it.
